This is an image of my friend Bambi. This is an outtake for a shoot I was doing the summer I turned 20 that revolved around fictitious characters at a dinner party, based on theatrical farces, pornographic narratives and trashy American crime novels. Bambi was playing a nymphomaniac neglected wife, whose only motivation in life was masturbation. We went upstairs to shoot a nude masturbation scene and play around with coloured flash filters, and this was caught as she was putting baby oil on herself to prepare for the scene. In many ways, this shot was more effective than the actual shoot as Bambi appears here as some ind of Lolita-like Venus, wearing the plastic sheen of cheap pornography in shades of labia pinks.
